Onward and upward! In order to rekindle Romelu Lukaku's career with the Blues, he must rediscover "that one spark." according to Thomas Tuchel.

Lukaku haven't found his one time spark says Chelsea boss Tuchel.

The Blues signed the Belgian striker at £97.5m around August last year, but he has since lost popularity.

Even though he's only begun 2 of the blues last 13 games overall, Lukaku still only have scored 5 goals in the Premier League this season.

According to Tuchel,"After period of injury he lacks simply the fitness for matches, which is not pointing the finger it's just a fact,"

"He's not to blame. Not that I see the need for inspiration from him. I think he just wants that one time, "that one spark", to bring him out of his shell.

"Normally he would be a natural starter against Crystal Palace [in the FA Cup] in terms also of the amount of minutes that Kai Havertz has played now and the physicality that Kai gives to matches, but it's in the crucial time of the season where you need to have a certain rhythm."

When he returned to Chelsea from the Italian club side Inter Milan, Lukaku was limited by injuries and also sicknesses.

Although he seemed to be critical of Tuchel's methods and intimated that he considered quitting his club Chelsea when he is involved in a press chat with Sky Sport Italia early this season, he has since changed his tune.

After finding some form during the holiday break, the 28-year-old has fallen down the chain of importance, with Timo Werner as well as Havertz clearly favored to fill the central attacking position, and he is still searching during his first EPL goal in this season.

Tuchel added, "If you see our matches between Brentford and Real Madrid and between Real Madrid and Southampton you can see in that short period of time you see the huge amount of effort we put in to become a winning team again,"

"It goes from there and as I said Romelu should have had a goal against Real Madrid and Crystal Palace but he was missing the luck."

"He is an option if he starts [against Arsenal]. If he starts we need all he has. Maybe he can't play 90 minutes but maybe he could put everything out there in the first 60 minutes."
